Liverpool legend Graeme Souness says Ivan Perisic would improve Manchester United.

Inter Milan midfielder Perisic is again being linked with United.

Souness said: “I can see why Jose Mourinho is so keen to bring the Inter Milan midfielder to Old Trafford.

“Manchester United would be a much improved side with him in their line-up.

“With his contribution against England when he scored one and had an assist, Perisic has now been involved in 10 goals at major tournaments for Croatia (six goals, four assists).

“That tells you plenty about his pedigree."
