Liverpool legend Graeme Souness reckons Marouane Fellaini is a bigger goal threat than Manchester United teammate Paul Pogba.

Fellaini made his first start of the season for Manchester United on Sunday in the 4-0 win over Everton at Old Trafford.

The Belgian stepped in for Pogba, who injured his hamstring in the Champions League win over Basel last Tuesday.

"He's a bigger threat than Paul Pogba," Souness said on Sky Sports of Fellaini.

“He's more of a goal threat.

“If I'm managing a team against Manchester United, I'd be happier with Pogba on the pitch than Fellaini.

“He is a real goal threat, he's not silky.

“If I was working with him I'd be saying 'get the ball, win the ball, use your aggression, stay within the rules of the game, play it simple and get yourself forward'.

“Nobody, nobody is happy competing against him when the ball comes in the box."
