Manchester City chief Ferran Soriano says they'll be active during this summer's market.
The Daily Express says City are understood to be well advanced in negotiations for Arsenal's out-of-contract right-back Bacary Sagna, plus Porto centre-back Eliaquim Mangala and his midfield team-mate Fernando, who were both close to moving to the Etihad in January.
Soriano said: "The planning has been done already.
"We know that some players will be leaving because their contracts are finishing. We have some new players coming. We are sure next year it will be better."
