Sooner the FA sort out England manager the better - Arsenal's Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes the Football Association would be better off sorting out the England teams new manager as soon as possible.

The Three Lions currently have caretaker Stuart Pearce in charge but with the European championships fast approaching, Wenger suggests it would be a good idea to get the much talked about issue solved quickly.

"I don't know their plan completely, I think they have been taken by surprise a bit with Capello going," said Wenger.

"They are now in a difficult situation and the sooner they sort it out, the better it is, but it is not easy for the federation [FA] at the moment because they do not want to interfere with what is going on in the Premier League. You can understand that."
