Stoke defender Ibrahima Sonko wants to prove himself with the Potters. The former Reading defender told Why Delilah: "I don't want to leave Stoke because I haven't proved what I am worth yet. I need to show the manager was right to buy me, but it is not happening yet. For me to do that means getting games.
"If Birmingham could have offered me games, to get me back on my feet and to come back better at Stoke, then I would have appreciated that. But it was up to the manager to decide.
"You can still go on loan now and I wouldn't mind playing more games.
"If I don't go, I will be happy to stay here. If I do go, it will be to improve and come back."
