Song Jin-hyung to start in Newcastle's ACL clash in Korea

Newcastle Jets midfielder Song Jin-hyun looks set to take his place in the starting line-up for Wednesday night's Asian Champions League clash with Pohang Steelers.

The 21-year old has not played for the Jets since having ankle surgery in January but after a solid training session in Pohang yesterday, he will included in the starting line-up according to coach Gary van Egmond.

"I think it is probably the best thing to do with him, and he's looking quite sharp," van Egmond said.

"We're looking to start him and we'll see how long we can get out of him.

"Is it 45 minutes, is it 55 or is it 60? We'll wait and see, but he'll definitely be there for that first 45."
