Son Heung-min felt a sense of relief as Tottenham Hotspur opened up their winning account in this season's Champions League on Tuesday.
The North London club travelled to Russia to take on CSKA Moscow in their second Group E fixture and came away with a hard-fought 1-0 victory.
The only goal of the match came in the 71st minute through the in-form Son, who now has five goals in his last five outings in all competitions, and the South Korean was delighted to contribute so heavily to a much-needed three points in Europe.
"It is a difficult game away," said Son.
"We played Saturday (2-1 win at Middlesbrough) and traveled Monday. We worked hard over the 90 minutes.
"I am very grateful to my teammates.
"This is a good time but also a lucky time. I try every game to score. We are very happy to win this game.
"Everyone is happy to get three points. We have to work hard. It is so important."
