Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole's son Devante has signed with crosstown rivals Manchester City.
The 16-year old has penned a three-year deal with City, following his famous father's footsteps into the Premier League, and joining one of his dad's former clubs.
Cole Jnr has been at Eastlands for a few years already but has now signed a scholarship contract and City youth academy chief Mark Allen was delighted to announce the news.
"Devante joins us as a scholar and he will go into the Under-17 level next season - a group of players we are quietly optimistic about," Allen told the club's official website.
"We'll be pushing them forward next season and developing them further and I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more of him and a lot of the other lads in the near future."
