The son of Chelsea legend Alan Hudson is working at Tottenham as a youth coach.
Anthony Hudson, 29, became head coach with Real Maryland in the competition just below Major League Soccer. He got them to the play-offs and was nominated as coach of the year.
"I got pneumonia working so hard, but it was great," he told the Daily Express.
The call of home was loud, however, and Harry Redknapp offered work with Tottenham's reserves. Anthony has also taken first-team training sessions under John Still at Dagenham and he has been interviewed for the top job at Newport of the Blue Square Conference.
"I have been touched by the help Harry and John have given me," he said. "Now I want to take a team of my own to show the feeling and the intuition I have for players and the job."
