Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn't believe Cristiano Ronaldo will enjoy a better relationship with a manager than what he has with Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson.
"When I needed to play more games suddenly he put me in for a few on the trot. I could have gone somewhere else but I found my place here. I loved it and I still do."
On Ronaldo's situation, Solskjaer shrugged: "I suppose I was a different player.
"I just felt very content; in my life, my career and my personal life. I made friends in the dressing room. I had a good time. I cannot complain."
