Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking forward to leading Manchester United in today's friendly at Motherwell for the Sir Matt Busby Shield.
The Reds travel to Fir Park to face Motherwell and Solskjaer is delighted to be part of the celebration, which marks 100 years since the legendary United manager's birth.
"We're looking forward to it," Solskjaer told MUTV. "It's a completely different challenge. We'll be the young, enthusiastic ones and Motherwell will be the experienced ones.
"It's important for these lads to have those kind of games and play against men sometimes."
Solskjaer was speaking after his side's 2-1 win over Wigan, a result which prolonged the Reds' 100 percent start to the season. The Norwegian still saw room for improvement however, after his side passed up a string of chances.
"It was a good win," he said. "It felt like we should've been winning 4-1 or 5-1. Gary (Neville) came in at the end there and had to check if the result was 2-1!
"When you're so on top, if you don't take your chances there's always danger. They had a couple of decent chances in the second half so there was the lesson they've got to learn."
