Highly-rated England youth defender Scott Wootton was given a Manchester United reserves debut by coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last night.
United were beaten 2-1 by Hull City at the sold-out reserves clash, with Wootton going head-to-head with Dean Windass.
United snapped up Wootton last season from Liverpool after a contract row.
