Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits they need "heroes" to beat the drop.
Solskjaer was used to seeing improbable situations saved during his days with Manchester United and, with time running out, he has now sounded a clarion call for a member of his squad to step forward.
"Our fans love their heroes out there on the pitch," Solskjaer explained. "I have said I'm going to work my a*** off and earn their support, and they can see we have a team that is going to do our best to make them proud.
"We need heroes now definitely. It is eight games to go and I'm sure one or two heroes will step forward."
