Solid point against Chelsea but two points dropped at home - Arsenal's Wenger

Arsene Wenger felt his Arsenal side gained one solid point but managed to drop two at home in Monday night's 0-0 draw with Chelsea.

The Gunners did not make the most of their chances at the Emirates Stadium as they went second on the Premier League table with Wenger stating that perhaps they could have done better at home.

"It is a solid point but two points dropped at home because at home you want to win your games," he told Sky Sports.

"But it can happen that in this kind of game you drop the points. We were a bit edgy with our last result (a 6-3 loss at Manchester City) I think played a little part in our head, but the team did fight very hard and I think on points we should have won it, especially in the second half."
