New York Red Bulls GM Erik Soler says their squad is envied in Europe. And Soler also reveals two new signings are on their way to the club.
He said: "I could sell five other players today if I wanted to to clubs throughout Europe; that's not going to happen. Simple as that.
"Not only expect, we're not going to. We want to keep the team, make the team stronger and win something. We're not in the selling mode; we don't need money, we need good players."
Jan Gunnar Solli and Luke Rodgers are due to soon arrive.
"Solli has already been on a medical, passed his medical, we just await his visa," Soler told the New York Post. As soon as he gets the visa, he's ready to sign,'' Soler said. "Luke Rodgers got his visa, so he needs a medical, and also the league wanted a special clause in his contract. It's a behavioral clause and we're all fine with that.''
