Roberto Soldado scored his fourth goal in three matches for new club Tottenham when he converted a second-half penalty in Sunday's 1-0 home win over Swansea City.
The £26million signing from Valencia added to his penalty in last week's 1-0 win at Crystal Palace and brace in the 5-0 Europa League triumph at Dinamo Tbilisi and his performance was not lost on manager Andre Villas-Boas.
"When Roberto receives the ball in space he has one objective which is to beat the man. He is really adding to our game because he brings that life and spark into our game," the Spurs boss said.
"He had the opportunity after what he did against Dinamo Tiblisi in the Europa League, scoring twice, and I think he took it very well."
