Wolves boss Stale Solbakken has accepted responsibility for the midlanders losing their last four Championship matches on the road. Solbakken believes he should have opted for physicality over attacking flair away from Molineux.
"I had a really tough Sunday analysing what's gone wrong and I watched a lot of games on DVD," the Norwegian told the Express and Star. "I thought we were on the right track when we went on that run and didn't let in any goals in three away games on the trot.
"But, after the international break, we haven't really produced and that could be because I've chosen too offensive a side, or maybe a less physical line-up.
"I think the biggest chance of improving in the short term is to pick a more physical side because I haven't picked a physical enough team in some games.
"I have to look myself in the mirror and say in some away games maybe I shouldn't have thought so much about the rhythm and continuity, but maybe we needed a more physical side, a more defensive side, or a counter-attacking side.
"That's something I'm going to have to look harder at. But we'd been on a very good run which I wanted to keep going. We've had payback time for that. I have to hold my hands up and take responsibility - it's my job to put it right."
