Sheffield Wednesday's out-of-favour striker Akpo Sodje may be loaned out to regain his fitness, according to boss Brian Laws. The 28 year old has struggled to secure a starting spot in the Owls line-up for almost a year and Laws thinks it could be the best option for both the club and player.

"We need Akpo to get some games under his belt, score a few goals, get back on track and regain that tempo he has been lacking a bit," Laws told the Sheffield Star. "It could do him the world of good to go on loan for 28 days and come back fit and on fire."
