Soda brand sponsors 2015 Gold Cup

North American soda brand Jarritos has signed a deal with the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) to sponsor the 2015 Gold Cup, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/

The agreement sees Jarritos become the official soda of the 2015 Gold Cup, replacing previous sponsor 7Up.

Jarritos joins Allstate, Delta Air Lines, Sprint and Telcel as a Gold Cup sponsor, along with Scotiabank, which is a Concacaf partner.

Concacaf acting general secretary Ted Howard said: "We are happy to welcome Jarritos as an official sponsor of the Concacaf Gold Cup 2015.

"Like Concacaf, Jarritos and the Novamex brands embrace the fusion of cultures that fuels our shared passion for soccer - the same passion which will continue to drive the success of the Concacaf Gold Cup this summer."

The Concacaf Gold Cup is a soccer tournament held every two years for national sides from North, Central America and the Caribbean.

The 2015 edition of the soccer competition will be hosted by the US and Canada and is set to take place between 7th and 26th July.
