West Ham United are believed to be keen on Sochaux striker Modibo Maiga.
The 24-year old Mali international was previously linked with Newcastle United only to see a potential deal fall through and is now a target for the Hammers.
Sky Sports suggests that the East London club are preparing a £4million bid for Maiga who joined Sochaux from Le Mans in 2010.
