Sochaux forward Mevlut Erding is emerging as a top target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

The Daily Mail says Wenger is keeping tabs on the 21-year-old Sochaux forward.

The French-Turkish striker, who was born in the French city of St-Claude, has impressed in Le Championnat this season and has been linked with a January move.

He gained his first senior international cap for Turkey in March 2008 in the 2-2 draw with Belarus.
