Socceroos squad for Indonesia clash announced

Australian national team coach Pim Verbeek has named his 25-man squad for next month's Asian Cup qualifier against Indonesia. The Socceroos take on the South East Asian nation in Brisbane on March 3 and will welcome overseas-based players Josh Kennedy (Nagoya Grampus, Japan), Mark Milligan (JEF United, Japan), Jade North (Incheon United FC, Korea Republic) and Luke Wilkshire (FK Dinamo Moscow, Russia) plus first time selectees Luke DeVere (Brisbane Roar), Mathew Leckie & Michael Marrone (both Adelaide United) and Daniel McBreen (Perth Glory).

The Socceroos currently sit second in Group B behind Kuwait on the number of goals scored and will need a draw or a win against Indonesia to qualify for the AFC Asian Cup 2011 which will be held in Qatar next January.

In the other group B match, Oman will need a win if they hope to qualify for the AFC Asian Cup 2011 when they host Kuwait in Muscat on Wednesday 3 March.
