Socceroos squad for Bahrain named

The Socceroos squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Bahrain has been named. Pim Verbeek named a squad of 24 for the round 4 match in Manama on Wednesday 19 November.

A quarter of midfielders have been recalled either from injury or suspension consisting of Carl Valeri, Vince Grella, Mark Bresciano and Harry Kewell whilst young goalkeeper Adam Federici has been rewarded for his recent performances on loan for Southend with a berth in the squad.

Federici is the only uncapped player in the 24 and gets a great opportunity to make his international debut.
