Pim Verbeek has had to make three changes to his initial Socceroos squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Bahrain. The shock announcement that veteran defender Craig Moore underwent surgery for testicular cancer has forced Verbeek to alter the squad.

Injuries to Blackburn Rovers midfielder Vince Grella and FC Nurnberg defender Matthew Spiranovic have also triggered changes within the camp.

Newcastle Jets pair Jade North and Mark Milligan have been included in the 24-man squad along with Central Coast Mariners midfielder Mile Jedinak.

The squad arrives in Bahrain this Saturday ahead of the clash at the National Stadium in Manama on Wednesday November 19.
