History could be made this weekend with Australia set to become the first nation to qualify for the 2010 World Cup finals. With most of the big European Leagues having completed their seasons the focus now turns to World Cup qualification.

Australia has the chance to be the first nation to qualify for the 2010 finals in South Africa by drawing or beating Qatar on Saturday.

The Socceroos have gone into camp in Dubai before flying over to Qatar on Friday.

Mark Viduka will not be part of the final assault this June while Everton's Tim Cahill picked up a knock in their FA Cup final loss to Chelsea.

Celtic's Scott McDonald was one of the last players into Dubai after playing in the Tommy Burn's Memorial match in Glasgow last Sunday.
