Australian national team captain Lucas Neill played for Blackburn Rovers reserves on Monday UK time.
The 35-year old defender played a full 90 minutes for his former clubs U21 team in the 2-2 draw with Tottenham's U21 side.
Neill is still without a club after his release from J.League outfit Omiya Ardija in November but is hoping to maintain his fitness with the Rovers as he searches for a new club ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
