Australian national team manager Holger Osieck wants Socceroos captain Lucas Neill to find as soon as possible.
The 35-year old former West Ham United, Blackburn Rovers and Millwall defender is without a club after his short spell with Sydney FC ended last season and Osieck is hopeful that he will soon sign a contract somewhere so he can get back to regularly playing ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
"It is a concern," he said. "If he hasn't got a club and he's not playing, how can you play for the national team? I think he is aware of that."
It is believed that Neill, who has played 92 times for the Socceroos, is negotiating a contract with a MLS club.
