According to media reports, Notts County have been put up for sale just five months after being bought by Munto Finance.

Munto bought the League Two side in July with former England boss Eriksson coming on board and bringing ex-international Sol Campbell to the club.

But former England defender Campbell left after just one match, County sacked first team manager Ian McParland despite the side sitting in the play-off spots at the time, and the Daily Mirror have claimed that Eriksson has not been receiving his £2 million-a-year salary, seven-eighths of which comes directly from Munto.

With the club on the market, Eriksson is reported to be considering a takeover bid alongside County chief executive Peter Trembling - though the BBC claims that Munto are already in talks with several interested buyers.
