Snodgrass: What else can Phelan do to land Hull job?

Hull City midfielder Robert Snodgrass has questioned the club on their failure to award a permanent deal to caretaker manager Mike Phelan.

The Tigers have made an impressive start to the Premier League season and has managed to earn seven points from their opening four games.

Phelan was also awarded the Manager of the Month award for August for his side's performances which suggests to Snodgrass that perhaps the Tigers board should give him the job.

"The players are sick of saying it," said Snodgrass in the wake of the 1-1 draw with Burnley.

"He's got the lads into a mindset and playing a level of football that is great to be a part of.

"He's just won manager of the month as well. I don't know what else he can do."
