Snodgrass urges Norwich to prove West Brom defeat just blip

Norwich City midfielder Robert Snodgrass says they must show that defeat to West Bromwich Albion was only a blip.

Norwich City midfielder Robert Snodgrass says they must show that defeat to West Bromwich Albion was only a blip.

Snodgrass has now challenged the Canaries to bounce back during festive home games against Chelsea and Manchester City.

The former Leeds player said: "Defeat is very hard to take. It just shows you how well we are doing that we are gutted to lose.

"I think we did well in spells but I think we gifted them two easy goals when we usually defend really well.

"It wasn't to be but we have got two games coming up and hopefully we can put things right.

"Sometimes you take these games as a bonus (Chelsea and Manchester City) but, when you have beaten Manchester United and Arsenal, and have a 10-game unbeaten run, there is that belief.

"It is how much they want it as a team. Do they want to be up there fighting in the top half of the table?

"We have got great players here and a great management team, so it bodes well for us to keep climbing."
