Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has told Manchester City they cannot buy success.
Sneijder made his withering assessment of Sheikh Mansour's Eastlands revolution after watching City tear through Europe's transfer market.
"They are spending a lot of money and they are good players, but you cannot buy a good team," the Dutchman told the Manchester Evening News.
"You can buy good players, but you have to make a team and you need the right coach there."
