Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder has revealed he turned down a move to Liverpool.Liverpool made a late bid to bring Sneijder to England before yesterday's transfer deadline, but the Dutchman chose to stay in Istanbul.
"If there are clubs interested, you should be happy about it.
"But with all due respect to Liverpool, which is obviously a big one, they have not been playing in recent years for trophies," said Sneijder.
