Manchester City could move in to trump Manchester United for Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder. Sportmediaset says Inter are interested in setting up a swap deal which would bring Carlos Tevez to the San Siro.

Inter president Massimo Moratti has told Sneijder's agent, Soren Lerby, he can leave for £25 million in January and GM Marco Branca is traveling to Manchester this week to sound out both clubs about their interest.

Asked about Sneijder leaving in January, Lerby would only say, "No comment."
