Sneijder must drop personal demands to make Liverpool move

More details are breaking over Liverpool's shock move for Inter Milan outcast Wesley Sneijder. This morning's edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport says Liverpool have offered a three-year contract to Sneijder and tabled a bid of €9 million to Inter for the Dutchman.

The stumbling is Sneijder's personal terms, with the midfielder demanding £135,000-a-week to move to Anfield.

Liverpool's opening offer falls well short of that.
