Former Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder is thrilled to be moving to Galatasaray. The deal was confirmed last night and Sneijder says he's excited about the switch.

"I am literally dreaming. I feel good, I'll have to learn Turkish ... I'm excited to go to Turkey, I will do my best. During the waiting in fact I learned a lot, I know that the Turkish fans are fantastic. I cannot wait to play, to get to Istanbul, to meet the fans. I'm excited and enthusiastic.

"I know a lot about the club, Fatih Terim, he's done a fantastic job everywhere and of course with the Turkish national team. I cannot wait to meet him.

"My message? I am proud to be joining Galatasaray. Really, I cannot wait to see these fans. We will live the great years together. I will be arriving tomorrow afternoon in Istanbul."
