Sneijder: Eriksen had to quit Ajax for Spurs to save career

Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder feels Christian Eriksen was right to leave Ajax for Tottenham last summer.

The Dane spent four years with Ajax before moving to London.

Sneijder felt Eriksen's game was beginning to go backwards after being so long in the Eredivisie and needed to make the move.

"If you want to improve, you should not wait too long to leave (Holland)," advises the Dutchman.
