Former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Richard Sneekes says his old club should consider Michael Laudrup as their next manager.
Laudrup is among the names linked with the job, along with David Moyes, veteran Dick Advocaat and Sneekes' former Albion team-mate Derek McInnes.
"Now is the ideal time to bring in someone who is willing to play attractive football and give the fans the kind of style they like down the Albion," Sneekes told the Birmingham Mail.
"Michael Laudrup would be ideal for me, he has a style of play people would like and did well at Swansea, especially in his first year.
"Gianfranco Zola is another one too. He took a group of loanees and players and harmonised them into a good unit. In that first year, when he got them into the play-offs, he had them playing a good style. Uwe Rosler is another who impressed. We played against Brentford when he was there and I was with Hereford. Their style was impressive and he's gone from strength to strength. He's done tremendously well.
"There must be money invested to implement ideas and look for a 5-10 project. Give the club a basis to build a future on. Make it long term, not make changes every so often."
