Many fans were surprised when they saw footage of Watford player Richarlison crying when he was subbed off by manager Javi Gracia against Chelsea.

Watford had a great game on Monday, managing to beat Chelsea 4-1 at home. They benefited from a red card for Chelsea midfielder Timoue Bakayoko, and scored 3 late goals in the game.

But Richarlison did not have the best of games, and he was subbed off when his side were still 1-0 up.

Footage from the game show that he was in tears when he was sitting in the dug out following the substitution.

While Chelsea did equalise soon after, the manager's change was vindicated by the fact his side scored three more goals to win 4-1.
