Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain says his knee operation was a "success".
Knee ligament damage wrecked his hopes of featuring in June's World Cup finals and also the Champions League final but Oxlade-Chamberlain is on the comeback trail.
The 24-year-old, who scored five goals in 42 appearances following his £35million move from Arsenal, recently underwent surgery and is focused on his rehab.
He tweeted: "Watching the boys in Rome last week taking us one step closer to something very special. Knee surgery was a success and the hard work has already begun."
