Paul Scholes has appeared to have given a wry smile when Steven Gerrard spoke about not winning the Premier League title.
The former Manchester United midfielder joined Gerrard, along with ex-teammate Rio Ferdinand and Gary Lineker, in BT Sport for Wednesday night's Champions League fixtures.
Gerrard, who spent his entire career at Liverpool without winning the Premier League, was defending Jose Mourinho tactics during United's 0-0 draw with Liverpool on Saturday.
"For me, for someone who hasn't won the title, I see it more as clever management," said Gerrard.
"As tactically spot on — if you go on to win it."
Mid-way through his monologue, Scholes can be visualised…
