Chelsea boss Antonio Conte insists he had no problem with Diego Costa going AWOL at halftime of their win over Watford.
The Brazilian, rested for the thrilling 4-3 win over Watford, had been named on the bench but sneaked into the press room at halftime for a snack.
After the game, Conte was asked if he’d would be telling Costa off for taking the food.
Conte responded: “Which type of food did he have?”
The Premier League winning boss then joked: “It is important, this… chocolate cake?
“In this case I am very angry with him. He must think to give me a bit of chocolate cake to share. I was suffering during the game.
“To eat a bit of cake or chocolate, that would be good.
“Next time I will tell him to think of me as well and share.”
