Tottenham fullback Adam Smith is backing teammates Harry Kane and Alex Pritchard to shine for England in the U20 World Cup.

Smith played in the World Cup in Colombia two years ago.

"I don't think people realise how big the tournament is," Smith told the Spurs website.

"To be honest, it was one of best experiences of my career so far and has helped me massively.

"It gave me the opportunity to play in front of Stuart Pearce and the Under-21s has followed for me after that. For Alex Pritchard and Harry Kane, it will be great to be on that stage where so many people are watching and I'm sure they will do well in Turkey."
