Smertin backs Spurs target Arshavin

Fulham midfielder Andrey Smertin is backing Tottenham's interest in Zenit St Petersburg winger Andrey Arshavin.

Smertin rates his fellow Russian as a key man in Wednesday's Euro2008 clash with England and is a big fan of the midfielder.
