NK Maribor young gun Emir Dautovic is currently on trial with Manchester City.
The 16-year old Slovenian has been with the English league leaders for the past few days and hopes to impress enough to eventually win a contract at the Etihad Stadium according to Maribor sporting director Zlatko Zahovic.
"Manchester City asked us if he could come to train with them and, of course, we allowed our boy to go to England for one week.
"But that is all for now. Later we will see how things go. But for us, the most important thing is that Emir has a professional contract signed with our club.""Yes, he went to England, he had our permission," Zahovic told Ekipa.
