Karol Kisel has re-signed with Sydney FC and will join the club for the next A-League season.
The Slovakian midfielder was a vital member of the Sky Blues Championship/Premiership double last season but was not offered a new contract after the triumph but the club has decided to bring him back on a one-year deal with the option of a further year.
The 34-year old returned to Europe to play with Slavia Prague in the Czech's Premier Gambrinus Liga this season and had scored six goals in 16 matches before re-signing with the Australian club.
However, Kisel will not be eligible for Sydney's Asian Champions League campaign - which kicks off on March 15 - as they have a full quota of internationals on their roster.
