Slovakia coach Vladimir Weiss says he treats his Manchester City playing son Valdimir Jr more harshly than his other players.

Weiss Snr admits young Vladi faces a battle to earn a place in his World Cup starting XI.

"It is not easy for him with this situation, but fortunately he is a popular guy in the group," said the coach. "I hope he can help the team with his talent."
