Slory surprised by friendliness of Adelaide United

Adelaide United import Andy Slory says he cannot believe that everybody in the team gets on.

The Dutchman has made two substitute appearances for the Reds since arriving from Bulgarian club Levski Sofia and highlighted the solidarity within the group - something he hasn't experienced much before.

"This is the first time that I can honestly say that I like every player in the team," he said.

"It's really a good team and everyone is like friends, the atmosphere and the fight is good and everything is OK."

And after a total of 50 minutes in his two outings, the 28-year old attacking winger says he is ready for more action when Adelaide hosts arch rival Melbourne Victory in the final regular season round on Friday night.

"Yeah, I'm ready It took my body two or three weeks to adapt and I think I lost two games with injury and one game for the clearance to come through," he added.

"But I feel good now."
