Slory set for Adelaide United debut tomorrow night

Dutch winger Andy Slory will make his much-anticipated Adelaide United debut tomorrow night.

The former Holland international will start on the bench in the Week 25 midweek clash with Gold Coast United at Skilled Park.

Reds coach Rini Coolen said the 28-year old will be in good enough shape to have an impact late in the match if need be.

"He can do something at the end of the game, he's fit enough for that, he's trained hard for it," Coolen said.

"We have to focus on everything to win the game.

"That is also the reason why I take some players on the bench so we can change the game if necessary, so we try everything to win the game tomorrow."

Young gun Mathew Leckie will also be deployed off the bench by Coolen who said it is a slight risk including two returning players, but one worth taking as the club needs a win to try and wrestle second spot from current holders Central Coast Mariners.

"It's a kind of risk, it's a risk we need to know," Coolen added.
