Sky to cover New Zealand at U20 World Cup

Sky New Zealand has acquired the exclusive Kiwi broadcast rights to the 2013 Fifa U20 World Cup, which starts in Turkey on Friday, reports www.sportspromedia.com/. The Sky Sport channel will provide live coverage of all New Zealand group matches - against Uzbekistan, Uruguay and Croatia - as well as both semi-finals and the final, should the All Whites qualify.

TVNZ has been confirmed as Sky's free-to-air partner for the tournament, with broadcast details set to be announced shortly.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for fans to get behind the junior All Whites," said New Zealand Football chief executive Grant McKavanah. "It's great that Sky Sport have given fans the opportunity to support the team at the Fifa U20 World Cup in Turkey."

New Zealand's U20 World Cup campaign gets underway against Uzbekistan on Monday 24th June before games against Uruguay and Croatia on 27th and 30th June respectively.

The final will be held at the Ali Sami Yen Stadium in Istanbul on 13th July.
