Mile Jedinak believes Pape Souare will continue to adapt rapidly to life in England with Crystal Palace.
The 24-year old Senegalese left-back made his Premier League debut in the weekend's 2-1 loss to Arsenal at Selhurst Park and was impressive despite giving away an early penalty.
Souare only linked up with his new teammates late last month after completing his duties at the 2015 African Cup of Nations and captain Jedinak feels he can certainly keep adjusting in south London.
"He's had another week under his belt with the lads and he is getting more comfortable around the squad so I'm looking forward to seeing him out there on the pitch again," Jedinak said.
"You welcome everyone with open arms and he knows that we're here to help get the best out of him. We've seen what he has to offer and hopefully he can build on that."
Souare will get the opportunity to add to his Palace debut when Alan Pardew's men, who sit 13th on the table, head to eighth-placed West Ham United on Saturday.
